- Each captain provide different options, but most often it's a fishing license, rods, reels, tackle, bait and lures, a cooler with ice, catch cleaning and filleting and all required safety equipment. Detailed information is presented in each offer description.
- What should I do for lunch?
- Bring sandwiches, snacks and drinks to sustain you during the trip. We recommend bringing plenty of water.
- How many people can fish from a boat?
- It depends on the trip type and the available boat. Usually it's up to 6 passengers.
- What kind of fishing do you do?
- Depending on the region and season you can find almost anything on our website: bay, inshore, offshore, flats, backcountry, lake, reef or river fishing.
- Do I have to bring my own tackle?
- All captains provide all rods, reels, and tackle and other fishing equipment.
- How do I book a trip?
- Choose a place you'd like to fish at the index page, choose an offer you like and click the Book Now button. All you need to do is to fill out the form and wait a couple of hours until the captain confirms the trip — that's it!
- What is the cancellation policy?
- Free cancellation is unique to each charter company and shown on the trip and checkout page.
- What should I bring with me on a trip?
- Bring a snack/lunch, something to drink, sunscreen, and warm clothes if it is cold the day of your trip. It is always good to "layer" clothes. Rain gear is always a good idea and so are polarized sunglasses.
- How many fish can I keep to take home?
- It depends on the species of fish caught. Captains comply with federal species, size and bag limits.
- Do I need a fishing license?
- Each trip includes a fishing licence for each passenger, so you don't need to worry about it.
- What are my payment options for a charter?
- Each captain has his own payment options, but they usually accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, bank transfer, PayPal, check or cash. Payment options are provided on the checkout page.
- Can I take my family on a charter?
- Families are welcome. A fishing charter with the family is great bonding time!
- What time should I arrive for my scheduled fishing charter?
- Five minutes before the scheduled time on your reservation.
- Will captain teach me how to fish?
- Yes, no fishing experience is necessary or required.
