  I can’t recommend a better captain than Captain Parker. I’m a lifelong Florida angler, born and raised fishing the Indian River on the East Coast. The Gulf is a completely different fishery and I spent plenty of years coming up empty over there. Any fisherman knows how frustrating it is when techniques from your home don’t work in new waters, especially in Florida. On a buddy’s tip, I booked a late-fall charter with Captain Parker while I was in town on a work trip. That morning was classic; late-fall Florida: early cold front, rainy, breezy, gray. Didn’t matter. When I pulled up, Captain Parker already had the boat in the water and ready to roll with rods rigged, live and cut bait, chum, cold water, snacks, and even room for my little cooler of oat sodas. We pushed off despite the weather and worked the flats, the bay, a few secret spots until we found a channel stacked with hungry snook. Captain Parker put me on a four-foot bruiser and a solid 34-inch keeper. That night my friends and I had the best fish tacos I’ve ever eaten. Many thanks, Cap’n. Can’t wait to get back over that way. • What does the trip price include when booking with Baitrun Charters?

  Everything you need for a successful fishing trip is provided, including rods, reels, tackle, live bait, an ice box, and fishing licenses for all anglers.Your catch cleaning and filleting are also included in the trip price.

• What do I need to bring on a fishing trip with Baitrun Charters?

  Although nothing in particular is required, we recommend that you bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and sunscreen to ensure your trip is even more enjoyable.

  • Sunglasses & sunscreen We recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, and appropriate clothing for the weather (your captain will advise you the day before). And, of course, don't forget your phone to capture memorable moments with photos :)
  • Snacks (if you want) The cooler has ample space for your favorite snacks, sodas, or alcoholic beverages should you choose to bring them. For trips of 6 hours or more, we recommend packing a lunch. A sandwich or any easy-to-eat option would be ideal for enjoying while fishing.
• What can I do with my catch?

  After your trip, the captain will clean and fillet your catch for free, allowing you to either take it home or enjoy it at a nearby restaurant with waterfront dining.

• What is the passenger capacity of the Baitrun Charters boat?

  The Baitrun Charters boat can accommodate up to 3 people, in addition to the captain.

• Is there a toilet facility on the Baitrun Charters boat?

  No, the Baitrun Charters boat does not have a toilet onboard.

• Licensing & Regulations
• Do I need a license to go fishing with Baitrun Charters?

  No, you do not need a personal fishing license. A fishing license for all anglers is included in the price of each trip.

• Payment & Cancellation
• How to book and pay?

  • Choose the trip you like and request the captain's availability online. You will receive a confirmation within a couple of hours.

  • Secure your booking with a prepayment made directly to the captain. Typically, this is 10-30% of the total trip price. Captain accepts Cash or Bank transfer.

  • The remaining balance is paid directly to the captain on or before the day of your trip.

• How to cancel and refund?

  Free cancellation available up to 7 days before the trip

  • You can cancel or modify your booking free of charge up to 7 days before the trip date. Your prepayment will be fully refunded.
  • If you cancel or modify your booking after this period, or if you fail to show up, your prepayment will not be refunded.
  • If the captain decides it is not safe to proceed with the trip (for instance, due to weather conditions or because the boat needs maintenance), the captain can cancel the trip at any time before it starts. In such cases, your prepayment will be fully refunded.
  • You can request a trip cancellation by simply replying to your reservation confirmation email.
• Do I need to leave a tip?

  While tipping is not mandatory, it is greatly appreciated as a gesture of satisfaction with the service provided. We suggest a gratuity of 10-20% of the charter cost, reflective of your experience.
